How Is the Open Rate Tracked?
Open and click rates are tracked automatically via our software. You don't need to change or add any additional settings.
In order to track the number of emails opened, each email contains a small invisible image (pixel). When this image is displayed, it indicates that the email has been opened by the recipient. This is done automatically – no additional settings are required. However, some contacts may have email settings that don't allow external data interactions. In this case, they won't be counted in the unique open rate. This means the unique open rate will always represent a minimum value for the actual opens that were carried out.
