What Is Geotracking Reporting?
In the Reports area, you can see where your emails were opened in the Geotracking app.
Geotracking works by tracking the IP address that the recipient is signed in on when they open the email. Because it is based on IP address, it doesn't always pinpoint an exact location and can be cloaked, through the use of a VPN, for example. But in 81.98% of cases, the IP address is within 50 miles of the recipient, so it can give you a rough idea of where your contacts are located.
On the map, you can zoom in to see a more detailed view. On the map, blue circles represent single users and red represents larger groups.
