What Is a Phishing Email and How Can I Prevent a Phishing Warning?

A phishing warning appears when a link leads to a target other than that described by the link text.

To measure clicked links, Newsletter2Go very briefly redirects the user to a tracking page (without the user realizing). This may occasionally result in a phishing warning.

You can easily avoid this phishing warning by adjusting the link text (anchor text) so that it doesn't contain any direct links. So, instead of inserting the following link text: http://www.mylink.com you could simply use www.mylink.com or mylink.com. The actual link (the link target) can then be inserted as normal in the editor. Simply select the text you want to link and insert your link. Be sure to enter the link in full (http://www.mylink.com) in the field for Link Target.
